Today’s moments are tomorrows memories.

Hi, I’m Andrea Sosa, the photographer behind Sopolarosa Photography. I’m a Greenville, NC–based portrait and lifestyle photographer with over 10 years of professional experience. I’m originally from Puerto Rico and a fluent Spanish speaker, and Greenville has truly become my home. As a Greenville native at heart, I love capturing the people, places, and relationships that make Eastern North Carolina so special.

I graduated with a BFA in Photography, and ever since then I’ve dedicated my life to creating images that feel personal, emotional, and timeless. Whether I’m photographing couples, families, weddings, graduates, or creative portraits, my goal is always the same:
to go above and beyond so you receive images you’ll cherish for years to come.

What sets my work apart from traditional portrait photography is my artistic background, my attention to the emotional details, and my ability to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera. I want your photos to feel like you — natural, fun, warm, and true to your personality. Whether you’re looking for classic, timeless portraits or creative, editorial-style images, I’ll make sure your session is uniquely tailored to you.

Why “Sopolarosa”?

Sopolarosa is a word I created by blending my last name, Sosa, with Polaroid — a nod to those nostalgic instant snapshots people take when they want to freeze a moment they truly care about. That’s exactly how I want every photo I take for you to feel: like a memory you’ll hold onto forever.

And for fun? I actually take a real Polaroid at every shoot — a one-of-a-kind keepsake you get to take home the same day.

Whether you’re in Greenville, Winterville, Ayden, Raleigh, or anywhere in Eastern North Carolina, I’d love to help you tell your story through beautiful, meaningful imagery.
